Sorry, but Jarvis is done…

Hello Everyone,

After spending some time now away from my Project Jarvis V I have realized that I really don’t have the time to be working on this project right now. If anyone would take over for this project then please email me at Jared@jaredweiss.net. Thanks to all of you who helped me when I needed it but I can’t locate any of my old Jarvis files because they were deleted (one of the reasons I have decided to stop). Anyways, I would like to say a final goodbye to all of you.

Thanks,
Jared

So im back in home now. I was in holiday.. And when I was at the table and i looking for a fork and then i got a good idea for J.A.N.E but i dont know how efective it is. I but to JANE my stuf what i want toknow where they are example my favorite pen or something. And so far it's working.

If JANE is integrated into your home then it would be fairly easy for someone to integrate that kind of software however it may be difficult depending on how many things you want JANE to be able to archive.

Regarding the speach software, there are quite a few as i said before but if you let me know a price range then I can tell you the best for that.

Personally I am using Dragon Naturally Pro and have the SDK for it as well.

Its the best but then it costs.
merlinmasterwizard asked

I honestly do not have a budget but I would like to get a fairly cheap product. How much is Dragon Naturally Pro?

I know it's early in your project but have you thought any yet about making it cross platform? I'm not familiar with the language you're using. Is it Windows-only?
jacroe asked

Know. As the title suggests this is only for Vista.

Hi
I know i asked how your project was coming along but i also wanted to ask if it was going to be an open source project or not?

I would like a nice DLA and have started on the hardware for my flat to begin with, Lights, intercom, am i in out etc.
merlinmasterwizard asked

It will be open source once everything is working. Right now it doesn’t integrate into my home because I haven’t had the chance to do so yet but it can still do a lot from just my computer. Just wondering, do you know any good voice recognition programs for Vista because the one I’m using isn’t so good.
